my phone is on crack

my phone is on crack

this 2 year old phone i inherited from my mom got some little casualty while taking a photo of UP Manila… inside the LRT which was approaching the next station. which, obviously, its driver just stepped on the brakes. 7026_1176180678381_1044013544_30485336_5509769_nwhich, obviously, made me feel like i have been hit by an invisible shoryou ken (spelling please) that moved me to the other end. luckily for me and especially for Rob’s camera, i was not badly hurt. just a few stitches. lolz

but my phone, got some cracks on its screen. buti na lang its not that bad din. but still, it gets annoying everytime.

it may be a while pa before i am going to buy a new phone. but for now, hold on to that wound, brave phone.

seems like everyone is on the “white man sings bahay kubo” craze lately. it is not actually a bad thing, i find it even cute. here are some video clips..

ain’t this one cute??

hello judges!

before i begin, i would like to say please spare me your ire (if necessary) if i have broken capitalization rules, misspelled words, and have grammatical errors in suicidal proportions. =)

anyway here goes:

THE VIRGIN

SM ATRIUM

SM ATRIUM

some time in November 2002 (or was it October, all I am sure is that it was Harry Potter Season), it was my first time to visit SM City Cagayan de Oro. in fact, it was everybody’s first time. and boy what a day it was for traffic. that day the traffic was soo horrible it put Manila and Bangkok in the backseat. luckily for us, we live in a locatiion where we can swoosh our way to this mall. honestly speaking, SM CITY Cagayan de Oro is not as big as say, it’s father who is residing in Pasig, or its half-sister from Pasay, but its upscale setting is worth the time. see, the problem was not just the terrible traffic; it was also the massive influx of people; it took us almost an hour just to feel ourselves with other people’s… you know.. from the entrance up to the 2nd level where the cinemas are, just to get me, my brother, and a board mate a Harry Potter fix. i think it was alright but then it was everybody’s first time so it has to be tight. yes, pun intended.

THE FIELD WORK

this experience happened when i was music’s primary slave, and it had to happen mostly in the parking lot of SM. and no, it does not involve backseat. while i was a volunteer reporter for a local radio station, we were assigned to give some stickers or actually put it on their car’s windshield. i have to say it was pretty tedious, a bit ordinary experience but a slice or two of pizza from a restaurant inside SM did the trick.

THE MAKING OF THE IDOL….

.. or not really. because i lost a bet a night prior, i had to join Pinoy Idol, a Philippine (now defunct) franchise of American Idol. i was not really hopeful that day, because i was not really planning to join at all. on the first day, i passed the audition, which required me to go back tomorrow for the final audition, wear the same clothes, cut classes and perhaps some exams too. finally i did not make the cut, but what the heck. meeting new people slash hopefuls and sharing experiences and ambitions is quite an experience.

and these are some memorable experience i have with SM City Cagayan de Oro. it might not be really that special to you, but you are not me. lolz.
