frenemies!

kwento ko lang what happened last Sunday evening on my way home from Ketkai.

i went to Ketkai to meet up with my friend and master photographer Bon Aserios (nuks) to get a copy of some pics for the emag. after a while umuwi na din ako because may pupuntahan pa akong iba sa kapitbahay.

then i waited for a taxi kaya lang walang dumadaan on Rosario Arcade, so i walked towards the nearby Robinson’s kasi may nakahilerang taxi. i then made a signal to the first taxi i saw na super tinted ang windows.

i told him to take me to this chorva ekbong subdivision so off we went.

while nasa highway na kami, he became a bit giddy and all. nahuhuli ko pa siyang nakatitig sa akin through the rear view mirror (tama ba? yung nasa pagitan ng driver and passenger seat?) deadma ko na lang.

paglampas ng marcos bridge na shock na lang ako sa tinanong niya

“boss, liko tayo sa High Time?”

tinanong ko ulit “say what??”

“liko tayo sa High Time. pang boundary lang”

dun pa lang, i was trying to keep my cool, poise lang. pero ang utak ko nag spin 500 revolutions per second

“eh… dun na tayo sa Mulawan lumiko, mas malapit.:” i told him, to let him think that i was thinking that he was talking about shorcuts. lolz

while entering Chenelyn subdivision, a subdivision before our destination, niliko niya ako sa wrong direction. si masyado mahilig si manong sa biglang liko.

“manong, chorva ekbong po. hindi chenelyn!”

“ay akala ko sabi mo chenelyn.”

“di kaya!”

naweweirdohan ako sa kaniya. lolz. balak talaga niyang agawan ako ng puri. che niya. kaya di pa ako nakaabot sa amin – mga 10 meters away from us, bumaba na ako, at inantay na umalis siya, feigning reading sms.. pag alis niya ay umalis na din ako..

lolz. nga naman, gawin lahat para sa boundary.

pero kung kamuka niya itong taong to…

.. aba’y why not! pwedeng pwede, kahit ihi-an niya pa ako! lolz

kung ano man ang problema mo may solution ako diyan. watch niyo na lang ang videong ito. and i swear, peksman, taya ko buhay ng aming kapitbahay, sasaya ka… watch na lang the vid. hehe

so my closet is turning one this month. yehey!

uhm, what could be a better way to celebrate a birthday of all sorts than singing your hearts out in a videoke bar. right? RIGHT? amineeen, gawain mo yan kahit walang celebration.

no, i am not going to hold a singing contest. 2012 is not really that far and by letting everyone sing will make powers-that-be decide to move it to an earlier year *gulp*

here’s what Miss C. of http://chuvaness.com can say about Kris Aquino’s statement re Ruffa G walkout incident.

“I had dinner with Noy tonight after his tv commercial shoot.
He told me di raw ba pwede na may quiet Sunday kami? (two words: duct tape)
And he asked why sya nadamay when he’s not even part of the Buzz
I would like to extend a loving hug to Ruffa.
I viewed the tape and although I still feel I gave my comment with affection. (two words: cariño brutal)
Maybe it made her feel even worse because she’s moving in a new direction.
We had what I believed was a good working relationship in the almost 2 years we were together on the Buzz.
I can also understand why Ruffa’s mom dislikes Noynoy and my family.
Maybe because of association and our vocal proclamation of admiration for Dingdong. (why damay Dingdong when he’s not even part of the Buzz?)
And his selfless contribution to help Noy’s presidential bid.
It is with Ruffa that I enjoyed a healthy working relationship with.
And I only have good words to say about her.
To Ruffa, I sincerely apologize for causing you hurt.
My brother Noynoy would like to add that we live in a democracy.
One where we are very free to make our own choice for president.

And March is women’s month. Fyi, it was mom who passed laws making this possible. (why damay Cory, she’s not part of The Buzz?)

We celebrate women who triumphed despite odds and need to look at ways to further improve.
That’s why I want Ruffa to have a great career ahead of her because she is a woman.
Raising two beautiful daughters, and I champion all women who triumph despite the odds.
Just like my own mom. (Mom na naman??)
Noy told me in any election, we’ll have our share of supporters and harshest critics.
And if you can’t take the heat, then politics isn’t for you.
As a woman, and as Ruffa’s mom and the lola of Lorin and Venice, I respect you Tita Anabelle. (meaning, you’re freaking scared of Anabelle)
And on behalf of our family, I apologize for the distress we caused yours. (Why damay your entire family? Leave Baby James alone!)
Hindi po ako mayabang, kaya ako nagpapakumbaba ngayon. (kasi may eleksyon)
On a last note, I promised Noy that if he does WIN, and I’m a cause of stress for him and his presidency..
I will gladly take my two boys to live anywhere there’s TFC. (can we have that notarized? wait. hindi ba kasama si James?)
So that I can continue to work but with our Overseas Filipino brothers and sisters. (I’m sure you think of them a LOT)
Of course Noy said – dinner daw yun – hindi teleserye ko. (the world is your teleserye, Kris)
I love my family and I’m so grateful to have such a supportive and grounded brother and sisters, (sic)

i was just thinking randomly what makes a Pinoy soap opera, a Pinoy soap opera. last night, i wrote all the facts i have observed while watching Habang may buhay:

1.) if it has Judy Ann Santos on a primetime.

2.) if the lead gets separated from his/her family.

3.) Pinoy soap opera is a small world. you will never know you have already met your mom.

4.) there’s kidnapping involved.

5.) kontrabidas, regardless of how sexy and girly, know how to man a gun.

6.) goons are always panget.

7.) you will instantly know if the kontrabida has an evil scheme when she turns her back on the people.

8.) yaya knows something you don’t know.

9.) seriously, what’s wrong with being adopted?

10.) palaging may naoospital.

11.) don’t mess with your lola. either she can kick ass or she has high blood.

12.) if the lead is rich, the love interest is poor or vice versa.

13.) rich people always eat hotdogs for breakfast.

14.) kontrabidas can’t deal with their insecurities. all the time.

15.) haba ng hair ng love interest. pinag aagawan. all the time.

16.) leads can’t dress up properly.

17.) pag di nabibigyan ang gusto, magagalit kay inay.

18.) neighbors are chismosas.

19.) neighbors will make chismis even in front of you, causing a commotion.

20.) pag nalaman ni bida na mayaman pala ang totoong pamilya, pupunta ng States at englisera na pagbalik.
