dati rati, 6 times a week ako nag gi gym. dahil insecure ako sa mga baby fats ko, ayun halos araw araw akong nagaalsa ng mga kinakalawang na dumbbells at nagpipiga ng limang kilong pawis. in all fairview quezon city, it did have an effect on me. i lost a lot of weight, because i coupled it with diet and yoga and kung anong anong kachorvahan pa.
but now, i feel kinda not like it anymore. in fact, i enrolled sa isang gym last month, and di ko na binalikan after two sessions. and i think i know the reasons why:
tamad ako – oo na, admit ko na, tinatamad na akong mag gym. i make selos ever so much if i see people who are so diligent and fervent enough to spare an hour or two flexing them muscles (sssshhh… atin atin lang to ha. kasi yung iba, dahil sa nuknukan ng kapangitan, dinadaan na lang sa ganda ng katawan. yes, the legend of the hipons).
busy ako – before, school was the only important thing to me. so meron akong time for everything else. but now, work consumes most of my 24 hours, pwera na lang kung tinatamad ako (refer above). and because busy ako, nakakaligtaan ko na mag exercise.
halos puros kabaklaan lang naman eh – ibang iba na talaga ang panahon ngayon. kung dati puro lalake ang nag-gigym, ngayon pati gay guys go na din. the more popular the gym, the “manier” gays are, out and pamintang durogs alike. some of them are also into cruising and booking. not that it’s a bad thing, but it’s not the point of going there anyway. and one time, a trainer was like trying to hit on me. ok na sana kung gwapo kaso ipinagkait yung chance sa kaniya, so kineveran ko. eeek.
ayokong maging bouncer – i have big bones. kaya if i will do some intense training, kasing katawan ko na si Ha or si Ho, depende kung sinong gwapo sa kanilang dalawa. even my friend called me kargador, so meseye ke?
so there. ayoko ng mag gym. i am trying to find some alternatives. bikhram (tama ba spelling) yoga or maybe i will go back to swimming (mahal lang masyado) or tennis. so sino bang may maipapayo diyan?
basta maipapayo ko guys, wag mamakla sa gym. lolz

ayan walang nakakaalam sa edad mo ngayon, kasi di ka naman nagsasalita hehe
but Happy Birthday anyway!
for over a year ng pagsasama, nakakarami ka na sa akin ha? una, binuking mo ako sa madlang bloggers society. pangalawa, na discoverj mo ang aming private conversations with ***** dati. pangatlo, kasing sexy ka na ni Andrea del Rosario while I maintain my Katya Santos overflowing curves. pang-apat, tayo pa nagsama sa Cebu at “naiwan” sa eroplano. hekhek
ganun pa man, itchuke. basta, remember the most inspiring lines for birthday messages “STAY THE SAME”

“Did you know that when people appear in your dreams, it’s because that person wants to see you.” – Time Magazine
ewan ko ba kung bakit palaging tinuturo si Time Magazine pag ganito. but whether or not it’s true, i still am dreaming of you. don’t know when it started, but i never will complain. if that’s the only reason why i should be awake for the rest of my day then so be it. sensya na, agang aga ako nag eemo. lolz o siya, matulog ka na ulit, at ako ay mag ja-jogging.

during the Mindanao Food Appreciation – SOCCSKSARGEN Summer Safari briefing we had, we were told we are going to stay at Ice Castle Experience. at the back of my mind were two things: a theme park in a place where no one can find, and this movie scene and this music:
but then again what i think is always not the case. lol
Ice Castle Experience is a hotel that is soon-to-be open in public, and we were the few lucky people who were accommodated there for a night or two. though it is not yet completely finished, the interiors are already polished and i must say, well done!
*click photos to enlarge. don’t hover it much or it might spit*
the facade of the building is not yet done but from the looks of it, it resembles a castle. duh, magman, ice castle nga eh.
the owner, Rey Billena, stated that this hotel is the result of hardwork and diligence, being an ice cream salesman for starter. wow, so i can definitely make my own condotel out of my being a… uhm… lingerie model… anyways…
the hallway that leads you to the rooms. look at the ceiling naman.. cool, di ba?
single de luxe room. every room has its unique colors and artwork, resembling ice cream flavors. this one is mango room.
double de luxe room aka bubble gum flavor room.
the presidential suite aka vanilla orange flavor room. yum. it is so big it can fit a family of 4-5 and you can play patintero inside.. kidding.
my favorite spot in the hotel, the Oval.
i repeat, this hotel is not yet open to public, but it will be real soon. and also by then you will enjoy not just a comfortable stay in General Santos City, but also a rejuvenating spa, so you wont have to go somewhere else for a massage.
and at least now i know where to stay at GenSan when i visit there…

meet with Davao Bloggers and lunch in Ranchero Grill
arrived in Davao past 12.
a little tragedy happened: an oil spill occured at the back of the van. two containers of Mamsue’s Spanish Sardines cracked and the oil leaked along the area. so sorry sa nangyari..
but back to Ranchero in Davao. we had a little getting to know with the Davao Bloggers and ate a very sumptuos lunch full of seafoods. but since i cannot digest seafoods (except for fish), and unless i want to carry a “Hitch” face during the rest of the trip, i did stick with the meat.
here are some pics of the food we ate (courtesy of Chiq Montes)
kinilaw is yummy!
i think this is sinuglaw
this is my favorite Ranchero dish: the baby back ribs! super likey i had the whole dish… kiber ko sa iba magpakalasing sila sa seafood, basta ako, the baby is mine!
di ko to natikman… masyado na akong focused sa baby.
tinikman ko to since i am a big fan of bangus. but after nang natikman ko tong sinigang na bangus na may hint of shrimp, i ate the fish and set the soup aside. yummy ang fish ha?
kiver
and this garlic chicken is yummy too!!!
don’t worry about Ding. happy yan deep inside.
nagfefeeling socialite with this fruit juices *i remember, the waiter is nanginginig na because hindi tinantanan sa pagkuha ng pic. lolz*
yummy fruits for dessert!
after an hour or so, we had no choice but to leave Davao. yes, it was my first time in Davao and we had to leave soon for General Santos. oh well, more to come!
Davao – CDO Bloggers: one or two punds heavier each.
so if you are in Davao City, i highly recommend Ranchero Grill. it’s located in Tionko corner Arellano Streets, near Bagko Sentral. telephon numbers 225-1199 or 226-8679 and you can visit Ranchero Grill’s Facebook Page. and yes, thank you Ranchero for the lunch!
next stop – GENERAL SANTOS CITY!

on our way to Davao.
photos courtesy of Chiq Montes
and also a big thanks to Carl who took us from CDO to Davao safe.
the grueling 8 hour ride from the City of Golden Friendshipness to the City of… er…. Eagles and Durian (?) was not really a boring haul because of the scenery you will see. and i was awake for most of the trip because it was my first time to travel south of this island.
man i was pretty amazed with what i saw.
but first we had a little stopover in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, for breakfast.
me and Robs in our best morning faces.
ok so i am not really awake that time.
then something happened while on our way to Davao. as we reached BuDa (Bukidnon-Davao boundary) one of the tires of the vehicle popped and went flat so we had no choice but to fix it. but i never did complain because of again, the scenery entertained our eyes so we took pictures as we wait for it to be fixed.
i have never been to that place so i got amazed by how American outskirt-ish it looks like.
CDO Bloggers’ firing squad pose.
not sure what Goma intended to portray but played along anyway.
plants for sale along the highway… this is good to defend us against zombies.
Chiq nomnoming on grilled bananas (ginanggang) as Robs is waiting for his order.
moy moy moy moy moy
hiked for almost an hour to reach this place only to find out that the car is fixed and it’s on its way to fetch us..
it looks pretty cool and cozy!
oh, there it is..
continue with the regular programming.
PART 2: Davao Bloggers meet-up in Ranchero (my auto favorite restaurant in Davao)..
see yah later!
