i wanna also thank those who joined. it’s not really quite the turn-out i was expecting but what the hey, the DVD set is their loss. lolz

so okay here is my actual conversation with Ms. Amy Zing… well not really actual, but sorta how it happened:

*this is where i told her about the mechanics and all that jazz*

am: can we start now?

az: how many contestants?

am: around four.

az: pathetic. ok i’ll help you, poor creature.

am: great!

az: i know.

am: aryt, let’s start ! let’s start with Orman.

az: he can’t possibly win.

am: why not?

az: he’s your friend.

am: so?

az: and i’m your friend, too?

am: ok point taken.

az: ok. she can’t win.

am: why not?

az: i have this very strong feeling that she is your friend. from cdobloggers, too.

who says Christmas spirit is gone? well, for my part, it’s gone ever since the first group of carolers dropped by our gate. but then, there must be little bit of spirit left.

you see, i was kinda having a hard time trying to sleep last night. bottom line, i didn’t get to sleep (which makes me over 24 hours awake now, and counting). so while i was wide awake last night and these wee hours of the morning (thank you very much, caffeine) i tried to tire myself by cleaning out my space, since it is tradition to do so during New Years. that and i had the luxury to do cleaning.

i had a lot of dvds cluttered around, like i do not even know why i even have some of them. i got rid with most of them and there are some that are so sayang to be thrown away. so now, i am going to give one lucky person a gift that, albeit second-hand, is good enough to keep for a while. and ta-da!!! here it is!

this is an original copy of the first ever season of The Amazing Race! you can tell by the box that it has gone through a lot, even though it’s only 3 years old. but it contains four discs with bonus features (read: nonsense) and it has really good video quality. i bought it in the United States and i bought it for 60 dollars (erm, i don’t know now). but i am handing it to a new owner.

i am in search for the new owner (thank you Ganda Orman for the idea!) is it YOU or is it YOU? hmm… here’s how to grab this thing:

ok, you can get excited now, this is only for people around the Philippines. i am going to shoulder the delivery. deadline for the submission of entries is on 12:01am of January 5  (that is 12:01 am of Tuesday). entries will be judged by me, by my pet cat, and by my neighbor friend/amazing race hardcore to the bones fan.
