now this is something refreshing. cause i am dead tired of the same old Anne, Lucy, Judy Anne, and (worse) Ruffa always appearing on the cover of one of my favorite local magazines.

Jinkee Pacquiao, aka Manny’s better half, aka Krista’s unbeatable foe, appears quite different, but nonetheless fabulous on the first issue of Preview Magazine for the year 2010.

so who would have thought that the lowly, budget-conscious housewife of our nation’s champ can be a fashion icon?

initially, i wouldn’t have. but now, somehow it seems promising.

seems like everyone is on the “white man sings bahay kubo” craze lately. it is not actually a bad thing, i find it even cute. here are some video clips..

while i was taking a bath this morning i couldn’t help but listen to my neighbors having a brow-raising talk.

my 4-month old neighbors were having this dad-daughter conversation about the daughter’s gay friend from high school. i did not see anything but if i am going to picture out, the girl was checking out her facebook and saw her friend’s gay pics, and dad was watching….

(disclaimer: written below is not the actual conversation but you get the point)

Girl: you remember **********? look at his pics, he is in US now.
Dad: yeah the fag
Girl: he took up dentistry and he is one of our topnotch students in HS, you know?
Dad: still he is a fag and fags are dirty.
Girl: sheesh dad why are you so discriminating?
Dad: no i am not discriminating, it is just the way that they are. it’s their tendency and their inherity.

as much as i want to battle it out i just told myself that i am lucky that i am not as narrow minded as he is. i mean, come on, inherity???

first off, it created a question mark right on top of my forehead seeing a not so ‘to die for’ on TV, who actually made it to this year’s GMA 7′s “Celebrity Duets”.

for this year’s duet battles, she is called the ‘beauty maven’. uhm, okay. maybe because she is a beauty surgeon. and just because she is a beauty surgeon does not mean that she has to be beautiful, right? ok.

but the odds must have taken a really long good nap to let THESE moments pass….

hello. this is the serious welcome back post of mine. i apologize for the very first entry of this blog version 2.0 for it was a bit – i dont know – alcohol induced. anyways here goes.

some time in 2004 i was first introduced to blogging. i did not even know then that it was called blogging – i thought of it as an online diary, where one can write everything that they can think of – be it their dark secrets, crushes, their first anal sex experience, and have the thrill of having the world to see what they have written and still be anonymous if they want to.

honestly, i never got hooked up with blogging. for me it was – it is safe to say that it still is – a thing for me that has a switch; meaning i can switch it on and off.

every time that i stop updating a blog of mine, i feel guilty. just everytime. this just shows that i am someone who does not take things much seriously. maybe i am someone who lacks passion in life. maybe if you just know, but i digress (wooshoo drama).

so back to being guilty. i feel guilty every time, because at the start i always treat my blog as my own child with crepe for a skin, then after a few months or so it is like a used condom – never in a person’s right mind to use it again (unless you really don’t know what a condom is or you are a prostitute in recession).

i am back again with an old blog. the old closet was fun, funky, a breath of fresh air and, so far, that was the most sellable blog of mine, reaching up to bryan gorrell’s own blog post.

however i have to bid goodbye to my old closet because of a situation i cannot control (read: flat broke). but with the help of my friends from cdobloggers, and encouragement of my friends, colleagues, and my own dear brother, the frustrated sports analyst, i bought back not just one, not two, but four blogs. meaning i just picked up four big stones and simultaneously hit these stones on my head. good luck to moi!

but whatever. i cannot promise that i am going to make this blog live forever, but i can still promise the same content that i have given you with my past closet: no nonsense, wild, loaded with ‘fuck you’ attitude, and of course fun.

have fun in my closet! just leave your slippers outside.
