last night, while me and my friends were walking down Velez Street to look for a place to eat, we saw people getting busy, pasting posters, putting up banners.

“karon na ba diay? di ba ugma pa man (is it today? i thought it will start tommorow?) a friend asked me. “murag man gani ug next month pa? (i even thought next month.)” i replied.

but yeah it starts today. the CIRCUS is on!

expect to see: dancing politicians to the tune of the sappiest, corniest songs out there, walls filled up with campaign posters, somebody waving on top of a moving truck, flying candies and coins, promises, vests you’ll never want to wear, divided people with divided opinions, bribery, cheaters, losers, sore losers, and of course, WINNERS!
